Happy Easter!

Here are a few Easter Cards I sent out to family!

Stamps: Print background, A good egg, and Pick a Petal
Paper: whisper white
Ink: Blush blossom, chocolate chip
Accessories: Close to Cocoa and Pretty in Pink markers

This next card is called a wiper card. It is fairly difficult to make, but fun in the end. I got the tutorial for this off of the Scor-Pal website. We created this fun card at my monthly technique class. Technique Tuesday's meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Come join us and learn how to use those supplies! In addition to the wiper technique we also learned masking and color spritzing.

Ink: Basic Black, Regal Rose
Accessories: Markers (regal rose, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Bashful blue), 5/8" regal rose ribbon, scorer, dimensionals

Here is another simple version of the above card using Pick a Petal. The base of this card is Pretty in Pink.

This last card was created by my Mom!! She sent this to my son for Easter. How cute is he? She used punches to create the adorable bunny, chalk to color his ears! A very fun card!

New Baby Card

Here is a card I created for a friend who is having a baby boy soon. The card is very simple and easy to create. I cased the idea from fellow stamper Cassie Gaskin. I am not sure where I found the card, but it is saved on my computer. I changed the ribbon and the types of stars I used. She also used scallops on the bottom but I omitted them.
Thanks for looking
Stamps: Family Accessories, Warm Words, Perfect Presentation (retired hostess set)

Marker Club Cards

Do you love the Many Marvelous Markers but can't spend the $125 all at one time? If so, then you need to join my Marker Club! Email or call me for more details!

Below you will see the two cards that my marker club created a few weeks ago!

This first card uses the technique called Highlighting! I stamped the butterfly from Garden Whimsy in Pretty in Pink. I then took a Pink Passion marker and highlighted the swirls and dots on the butterfly. It adds a little to the butterfly! Thank you to My Life's Art Blog for the idea! Stamps: Garden Whimsy, Much Appreciated
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion, Whisper White and Berry Bliss DP
Ink: Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip
Accessories: markers, 1/4" pink grosgrain ribbon

The next card uses the Sale-a-bration set Birthday Whimsy. On this card we used the Color Spritzer tool found in the catty on page 185 for $12.95. It is a fun little tool that gives a kind of airbrushed look to the paper. There is a lot you can do with this one!

Stamps: Birthday Whimsy
Ink: Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Soft Sky
Paper: Basic Gray, Perfect Plum, Old Olive and Whisper White
Accessories: Markers (Basic Black, Old Olive, Perfect Plum and Pretty in Pink), color spritzer, ticket punch and scissors.

Birthday and Thank you Card Stamp a Stack!

On Saturday, March 29 at 1pm I will be having a Birthday and Thank you Card Stamp a Stack. If you would like to join me in stocking up on some birthday and thank you cards please email me for more information! You will get to make 2 each of the 5 cards below for $25!

This first card was fun to create! We used the Ginger Blossom paper to make this birthday card. Stampin' Up! has some awesome designer paper out right now. I have bought way too much of it because is so hard to resist.

Stamps: Think Happy Thoughts

Ink: Basic Black and Cameo Coral

Paper: Ginger Blossom DP, Basic Black, River Rock and Very Vanilla

Accessories: 1/4" black grosgrain ribbon, scallop punch, circle punch 1 3/8 and 1 1/4

This card is from the set It's a sign and the sanded background stamp. I think it makes a fun boy or teen card! The It's a sign set is great for scrapbooking as well.
Stamp Sets: It's a Sign and Sanded
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise and More Mustard
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, More Mustard and Jersey Shore DP
Accessories: 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 square punch, distresser

This card sketch is a copy from a Splitcoaster named Many Blessings. We changed the colors and stamp set.
Stamp Sets: Priceless and Polka Dot Background
Ink: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Perfect Plum
Paper: Same as ink
Accessories: Bashful Blue Striped grosgrain ribbon, 1 1/4 circle punch

The next card is a personal favorite of mine. I borrowed the idea but can't find where I borrowed it from, so if it is yours please let me know. I love this Posy Background Stamp. I never noticed it in the Fall Catty but did when the new one

Stamp Sets: Posy, Much Appreciated
Ink: Basic Black and Regal Rose
Paper: Basic Black and Whisper White
Accessories: 5/8 Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, black marker for the faux stitching.

This card is another favorite of mine! Valerie and I designed this card from a sketch we had seen. Sassy Suzie can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog. She is only guaranteed to be available until May 31 so don't miss the chance to get this adorable set. We used the slit punch to make a mini card on the front. I love the sayings that come with Sassy Suzie...a sure laugh for anyone. I am not sure if you can see her close enough but we used Dazzling diamonds on her jewelery and lips to give her a sparkle. Her skin was colored using a Blush Blossom marker that I colored on a stamp box and lifted with a blender pen. It gave her a softer touch then just coloring with the marker.

Stamp Sets:Sassy Suzie and Neighborhood Jumbo Wheel
Ink:Basic Black, Real Red, and Blue Bayou
Paper:Blue Bayou, Real Red, Whisper White, and Soft Sky
Accessories: markers, blender pens, slit punch, ticket punch, double stitched blue bayou ribbon, 2 way glue and dazzling diamonds
