My Digital Studio...Card

I have been playing around with all the features of MDS lately and have really enjoyed the fact that it is NOT digital scrapbooking.  It can do so much more!  Here is a fun card I created using MDS.  The stamp set featured comes from our Saleabration disk which you can get FREE when you spend $50!  If you decided to purchase the MDS program you can get this fun disk full of the images and embellishments found in the Saleabration brochure!  The colors I used were Basic Gray and Pink Pirouette.

It is hard to see but this will be the inside of the card

My Digital Studio...Enjoy Every Moment Layout

I am falling in love with My Digital Studio!  It is so fast and easy to put together a page or even a full project.  I found a cute, cute page by a lady name Justine on the Soul Scrappers website and decided to change it up and make one similar.  Her layout was 12x12 and was pink, mine is 8.5 x 11 and Night of Navy/Bashful Blue.
You can see her layout here.  Here is my version of it....

I am hosting a FREE class in my home on Friday, February 25 at 7pm on the basics of MDS.  Email me or give me a call if you would like more information!

Cupid!

Technique Thursday is February 10 at 7pm.  We will be using punches and the big shot to create fun projects.  One of the projects will be a punch art Cupid!

I got the idea for this super cute guy from a very talented punch artist Ellen Kemper.  Thank you Ellen!

Email me today to RSVP for this class.  Cost for the class is $10 or $5 with a $25 order.

Happy Punching!

Inlaid Embossing!

I found this awesome technique online and just had to case the card!  I copied the card exactly minus the sentiment and ribbon.  The colors I used are Basic Gray, Real red and Whisper White.  I sponged the big heart with Basic Gray ink to add dimension.

Here is a close up of the heart inlaid in the paper.  I put a bunch of hearts on Whisper White cardstock and then ran it through the big shot with the lattice embossing folder.  It provides a really cool technique.

I am doing a couple of workshops this week and I create a fun Valentine box to go along with the card.  I used hearts to decorate the box like the card.

I created a second box using the Love Impressions Designer Series Paper and the three heart punch!

Top of the box!

Happy Stamping!!
