Hello all! WOW! I can't believe I haven't posted in so long. Be ready I have a lot to post. First, Christmas cards....I can't seem to make enough of them. I love love love Christmas and creating Christmas cards. Here are a few fun cards I created....most if not all ideas were cased from Splitcoast. Microsoft Vista does not offer me a way to resize that I am aware of so if you would like to see larger images click on them and then right click and view image. It will open up the image in another application so you can view it better. I hope this helps.
I think this card was called Candy Christmas on Splitcoast. I used the sets In the Spotlight and Perfect Presentation (both of which are hostess sets, email me to learn how you can do a catalog show or a workshop and earn these sets for FREE!!). Colors used were a stretch for me to combine...Pretty in Pink, Real Red, and In color Wild Wasabi. I used the new and very cool scallop punch for the focal piece. The center piece is stamped and then the flower is punched out of the center and re added on top of another piece to do the two colors.
Here I used the set A Tree for All Seasons, and various words, snow flakes I think came from Merry and Bright (found in the Holiday Mini). Paper is white, bashful blue, and Night of Navy. I used Craft Ink and clear embossed. A very simple card.
Another very simple card using Kraft, white and bashful blue paper. I used the A tree for all seasons again and the Merry Christmas from Loads of Love. The ribbon is the 5/8 Grosgrain Ribbon and the Red Gingham. I also ticket punched the corners....a very fast and easy card to create.
I am in love with this next card. The paper is Close to Cocoa and Chocolate chip. The stamps used were Print Pattern, Merry and Bright, and the Merry Christmas from Loads of Love. I used a white gel pen to mark the edges of the print pattern. The reindeer was colored using Creamy Caramel marker and layered on Wild Wasabi. Another very simple Christmas Card.
NO STAMPS USED!!!! Is it possible!?!? LOL The paper is Old Olive, Real Red and Dashing Designer paper. The gifts were created using a square punch and layering the gifts onto real red. The ribbon is glue dotted to the middle piece and the bows are knotted and put above the gifts. 5/8 Real Red Grosgrain covers the bottom. How cute and easy is this card!! Just think of the possibilities. Change out the paper and colors and create a birthday card or baby card. Just think outside the box and who knows what you will create.
Stay tuned...I have a Neighborhood Expo on Saturday where I hope to meet a lot of new people and share my love for stamping!! If you would like information about the expo please email me and I will get that information to you.
Until next time...Happy Stamping!!
