Good Luck

I have been playing with the Pun Fun set and loving it!! Here is a card that I created today with a friend. We cased the layout and some of the color scheme from the 2005-2006 Stampin' Up Catalog. The older catalogs are great to look back on and get ideas from. I have a few 2006-2007 and Winter 2007 catalogs for sale if anyone is interested in them. If you do not own this set it is a must have!! I separated the image from the words that came with it so I could have a more versatile set. More cards coming soon!!!

Paper: Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Stamp Sets: Pun Fun, Outlined for Fun, and Smarty Pants
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, tag corner punch, cropodile, versamark pen (colored words), water color pencils and blender pen

Pun Fun and an M&M Treat Bag

How cute are these? I got the tutorial for the M&M Treat bag on Cammie's Blog. The card uses the set Pun Fun and scraps! Details Below....
Paper: Berry Bliss Designer Paper, Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Whisper White
Stamps: Holiday's and Wishes
Accessories: Creative Memories Circle Cutter, Wide 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Valentine M&M's, scallop scissors

Paper: Purely pomegranate, Berry Bliss Circle Scrap from the treat bag!, Pretty in Pink, and Very Vanilla
Ink:Basic Black, Purely Pomegranate
Stamps: Pun Fun, Family Phrases
Accessories: Creative Memories circle cutter, 5/8 grosgrain ribbon, blender pen, gable green and yo yo yellow marker, dazzling diamonds glitter, and 2 way glue pen

When I completed the bag I had the circle left over and decided to create a card using the scrap and this is what I and a friend of mine came up with! The treat bag was surprisingly easy!

Prehistoric Birthday!!!

I think this is going to be one of my FAVORITE SETS!! I created a fun pocket card using Prehistoric Pals stamp set. I also used the new set Family Phrases for the Happy Birthday.

Here you can see a close up of the corner where I used the Sanded Background stamp.

Stamps: Prehistoric Pals, Family Phrases, Sanded Background
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, and Jersey Shore Designer paper
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Corner Rounder, Cropodile, orange brads, round tab punch

One tip is to punch the tab first then stamp the pterodactyl. Again, I had a lot of fun stamping this one...it is a fun set and the designer paper makes it really easy to coordinate the colors.

Happy Heart Day Thank You

Here is another card we did at Open House. I cased this card from hogued49085. The only change is I used bashful blue and bashful blue designer paper from the level 1 hostess pack. A wonderful level 1 hostess item. You get 60 sheets of paper!! An excellent reason to host a workshop.

Stamps: Happy Heart Day
Paper: Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi, Real Red
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Basic Black
Accessories: Real red 5/8" ribbon, real red marker, and blender pen

The fun little elephant was stamped on white paper first and then the designer paper. I cut him from the designer paper and glued him on the elephant on the white paper. A fun technique called paper piecing.

Celebrate Friendship!

Here is another card stamped at my Open House. I used the Celebrate Everything stamp set again and the "NEW" striped ribbon!

Stamps: Celebrate Everything, Totally Tabs, Time Well Spent
Paper: Whisper White, Really Red
Ink: Basic Black, Really Red
Accessories: Tab punch, striped Real red ribbon, red marker, white gel pen

Celebrate with Stars!

This fun card was cased from Debbi's Design Stamping Blog. I changed the colors but that was about it. Our new large and small star punches are showcased here along with the new Celebrate set.

Stamps: Celebrate Everything
Paper: Soft Sky
Ink: Soft Sky
Accessories: Soft Sky ribbon, large and small star punch

Happy Heart Day!

I had a demo the other night and needed a fun, wow card and this is what I came up with...what do you think? I cased the layout from Splitcoast, but the rest was my own (something rare! LOL). During the month of January Stampin' Up! is running a special where you can buy this cute set, 50 medium cellophane bags, and red 5/8" ribbon for $33.40 (w/o s&h and tax) and get the regal rose 5/8" ribbon for FREE!! It is a cute set and very versatile. Stay tuned for a cute Thank you card.

Stamps: Happy Heart Day
Paper: Berry Bliss Designer paper (isn't it yummy), Close to Cocoa and Pretty in Pink
Ink: Basic Black, Purely Pomegranate (heart), Pretty in Pink (background flowers)
Accessories: blender pen, pomegranate ribbon, paper clip, silver brad, creamy caramel and pretty in pink markers.

Blasting off with Pun Fun

Another card using Pun Fun. This card was a case from the new Spring/Summer Catalog. Again, I am loving this set. When I mounted it I used my exacto knife to separate the words from the images to make it even more versatile.

I stamped the rocket and words first on the Old Olive, then again on white. I colored and cut the rocket out. He is mounted with dimensionals.

Stamps: Pun Fun, Sweet Stars Jumbo Wheel
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Old Olive
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie ribbon, watercolor pencils and blender pen

Stinkin Sweet!

I had an open house on Thursday and here is one of the cards I created. This set is very versatile and very fun to play with...A must have for any stampers collection!

Stamps: Pun Fun
Paper: Ginger Blossom Designer Paper, River Rock, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Staz On Black
Accessories: paper piercer and mat, watercolor pencils, blender pen, Cameo Coral marker, Old Olive marker, Rhinestone Fire Brads, and Dazzling diamonds glitter.

More Gifts...Checkbook Calendars

I created a few check book calendars for a customer who was giving them to family and her Creative Memories Downline. Here are a few that feature Stampin' Up supplies....I had a lot of fun coming up with different designs for each person. I think I did 15 total and most of them were different.

The first features the All in the Family Set and the Neighborhood Jumbo Wheel. I printed the name using a font on my computer.

This one uses the new Level 3 hostess set Time Well Spent
This one is my favorite....It was for one of my customers and since I know her I could really personalize it. The sign language says Creative Memories and her name. The stamp set Time Well Spent was also used.

Cowboy Kid (retired) was used to create this one along with the Paisley background stamp.
If you are interested in having me make one of these for you please email me and let me know and I will give you pricing and information. I had a lot of fun creating these.

Calendars: November and December

The last two pages are my favorites....November uses Basket Full of Fun (retired) and Earth Elements colors. December uses Greetings Galore and Non SU Christmas Lights. These two pages were fun to color and design. The calendars were a lot of work but well worth the time and effort.
