Same materials, Different card!

I have made a challenge with my fellow demos to post each week so you are going to start seeing more stamping, I hope! :-)

My last club meeting for one of my groups was on Thursday night. I was at a loss on what to do for the final projects. Fast forward to the Tuesday before the Thursday club meeting when I sprained my knee and put myself on crutches for the next two weeks. I was so not in the mood to sit and cut out paper...mini pity party that week. I found some already cut out cardstock from a workshop in December and decided to work with it. Here is what I came up with...

Sock Monkey Love!
Thanks to my awesome stamping buddy Valerie, I also created this adorable top note bag to go along with the card. I had the idea but she really helped me bring it to life! (thank you Valerie)

Stamps: Sock Monkey, Just B
Ink: Riding Hood Red
Paper: Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Alpine Ribbon (Holiday Mini)

Here is what the original card looked like and then my Valentine change!

The top note Monkey Bag was very easy to create! The small bags can be bought at most craft stores and then cut down to 3 inches tall. I adhered the top note with sticky strip and used the large oval to cut the handle. Be careful when punching that you fold the outside edges out so you don't cut the bag.

Stamps: Sock Monkey, Holiday and Wishes
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Close to Cocoa
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Cocoa Marker, small white paper bag, large oval punch, word window punch, Alpine Ribbon.

Club Projects!

Here are the two projects my club completed on October 16th. This club meets on the third Thursday of each month. If you and 5 of your friends want to start a club let me know, new clubs will start in February! Now on to the projects!

We completed a 6x6 scrapbook page this time around. I had fun putting this one together. I found the layout online and added my own colors and elements. The Harvest Wheel is watercolored using watercolor paper, markers, paint brush with water. This 6x6 page can be incorporated into an 8.5x11 page or a 12x12 page!

Stamps: Harvest Wheel

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Watercolor

Ink: Chocolate chip, Black Stazon

Accessories: Markers, watercolor brush and water, sponge, 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon

Punched Lion
I am loving my punches more and more each day! How cute is this lion? I cased this idea from someone and for the life of me I can't find where. If it is yours PLEASE let me know so I can give proper credit.

The lion uses the scallop circle (punched twice), 1", 1/2", 1/4", 1 3/8" circle punches, small oval punch, Boho Blossoms punch and horizontal slot. The eyes, dots on cheeks and claws were drawn with a chocolate chip marker. Saying and grass is from Inspired by Nature. Cardstock is Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, More Mustard and Whisper White. The grass was stamped in Mellow Moss to make it more subtle. Hope you like...if you want more detail on the lion feel free to ask. I am always happy to share what I love with you!!

Happy Stamping

Club Meeting!

My first club meeting was on Thursday, August 14th. We stamped 3 really cute cards....If you are curious about club here is the run down.

A group of 5-6 ladies get together once a month and agree to spend $25-$30. One girl acts as hostess each month, brings snacks, can collect outside orders etc. The exciting part is you get the hostess benefits, fun stamping time and new ideas without having to clean your house!!!

In addition to the hostess benefits, I will supply you with a copy of our awesome Idea Book and Catalog and you will be invited to our hostess only year end party! If this sounds like something you and your friends might be interested in contact me today for more details!!

I love the Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango together. I think this card has a tropical feel to it! One of my favorite cards so far!!
Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Celebrate Everything
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White and Tangerine Tango
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip

Ink: Basic Black and regal rose

Sock Monkey Love!
I am loving this guy! He is so fun to stamp. I got this idea off of a blog or splitcoast one....thank you to whomever I cased this from! The chocolate background was decorative paper in the picture I cased but since I don't have it I used itty bitty backgrounds to create my own.

Stamps: Monkey Buisness, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: Baja Breeze, Regal Rose, Chocolate chip, close to cocoa, whisper white
Ink:Chocolate chip, whisper white craft, pink pirouette
Accessories: Scallop edge punch, scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches, markers, 5/8 chocolate ribbon, sponge

Club Cards

My awesome club ladies met with me on Saturday of last week and we stamped two fun cards. If you are not in a stampers club it is easy to join one. All I need are 4-6 ladies who want to increase their stamping supplies and learn some fun techniques. You spend a certain amount each month and once a month you get to be hostess. The hostess receives at least $15 in free merchandise and a free hostess set. As hostess you can host a workshop prior to club meetings and combine it to your club totals or bring in outside orders. Easy and you increase your stamping supplies slowly and learn how to use them as well!!!

The first card we did was a Pop Up Card: Below you will see the card itself, the card closed to fit in a standard envelope and a side view.

SUPPLIES:
Stamp Set:
Sassy Suzie (She is part of a new Occasions Mini that will be available on March 1), Polka Dots and Petals
Paper: River Rock, Groovy Guava, Old Olive, Whisper White and Watercolor paper
Ink: Same as the paper
Accessories: blender pens for coloring, build a brads, paper piercer, ticket corner punch, hole punch for the brad

The second card we completed was a Big Buckle Card!!!

Stamps: Birthday Whimsy (a Sale-a-bration set) and Jumbo Whimsy wheel
Paper:
Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White
Ink: Same as paper
Accessories: Word Window punch, corner rounder, scissors, chocolate chip marker, yoyo yellow marker, and dimensionals
