Pun Fun Class

I am hosting a Pun Fun stamping class on Saturday, Feb 23 at 11am. If you missed out this time and love these cute cards then be on the look out for a make up date! We will be creating 8 cards (one for each stamp) and a Coaster Calendar. The following posts will show the eight cards we will be creating and the calendar!

Let's start with the calendar! We covered two coasters (ours were from Outback) with Ginger blossom paper using a glue stick. How cute is this!?


STAMPS: none
PAPER: Ginger Blossom Designer paper, rose red, river rock and cameo coral
INK: none
ACCESSORIES: tab punch, jumbo eyelets, corner rounder, cropodile, stapler and River Rock ribbon

Now on to the cards:

First is the Whale....Get Whale Soon is a file folder card that measures 5.5x7.25. I watercolored the whale on watercolor paper using the watercolor crayons. I also added crystal effects to the water to make it shine.

STAMPS: Pun fun, On the Spot Jumbo Wheel, and Totally Tabs (the Wild Wasabi Tab was stamped then punched out)
PAPER: Tempting Turquoise, More Mustard, Whisper White, Watercolor paper, East Coast Prep Designer Paper
INK: Wild Wasabi, Black Stazon, Tempting Turquoise
ACCESSORIES: crystal effects, blender pen, red paper clip, white and real red grosgrain ribbon, tab punch, corner rounder

Our bird here was designed by my stamping partner in crime, Valerie. His little belly has Dazzling Diamonds to make him more festive!

PAPER: Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Real Red and Whisper White
INK: black, sahara sand
ACCESSORIES: Markers: Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Certainly Celery, and Bashful blue; striped red grosgrain ribbon, 2 way glue, dazzling diamonds, ticket corner punch, dimensionals

Our darling cat is next...he has to grow on me a little. If you look closely you will see some "spritzing" of pink on the Perrrrfect tag. We used the color spritzer tool and a pretty in pink marker to add a little to the tag!
