Let's Celebrate!

How fun is this card? You can create this card in May at my Punch it Up class along with 2 others. I got the layout and idea for this card here. I used different colors, papers and punches. The burger is created with ovals, scallops, circles and squares. The checkerboard is using our texture plates and a brayer! The ants are from bugs and kisses! What do you think?

Let me know if you would to join us on the last Thursday in May for Punch it up Thursday's!!!

Happy Stamping and punching!

Technique Tuesday!

Here are two of the three cards we will be doing on Tuesday, the third is still on the drawing board. The third card is a double slider, super cute but needs a little more detail. The double slider card uses the new Occasions Mini Set Choo choo and Right on Track stampin' wheel!

Silver Bead Duos!
We will be working with Stampin' Up!'s bead duos to create this cute Pick a Petal Card. This is one of my favorite color combinations: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Tangerine Tango!

This is a cute 3x3 card that you will get to make 2 of using our sticky cuts and glitter!
We are using the sticky cuts sweet which has flowers, butterflies, words, hearts and more!
For this butterfly I used a craft knife to cut the middle out and pour turquoise glitter on, the wings have pink chunky glitter.

Remember to RSVP by Sunday, April 19th so I will have time to cut paper and get the supplies ready. Class fee is $10 or $5 with a $25 order! If you sign up to host a workshop you can get the class for FREE, $10 will be given after qualified workshop is held.

Happy Stamping!!

Pampered Stamper

Join me on April 24th for a night of pampering and stamping! Bring your girlfriends and come learn more about Stampin' Up! and Mary Kay!! You will get to stamp 2 awesome cards which can be used for Mother's Day and then you will pampered by my awesome Mary Kay Friend, Jenene Pope. You don't want to miss this awesome girl's night out! Please RSVP by April 17th!

A tote bag!

I found this fun tutorial for a Tote Bag using 6x6 paper and thought I would give it a try using 12x12 paper. You can make your own gift bags, thin ones but still very simple to create!
You can see the tutorial on Paper Pusher's Blog

I used retired DSP from the holiday mini to create this bag. It was the most neutral paper that I had that would look good as a bag. I used our jumbo eyelets and whisper white grosgrain ribbon!

I had to make some adjustments to the bottom as far as taping it closed but overall I just followed her instructions. You could try any size paper... 8x8, 4x4, 2x2....possibilities are endless!

Punch it up Thursday! April 30th!

Aren't they cute?? Here are the three cards we will be doing on Thursday, April 30th. We will be creating a purse, a tea cup, and a cute ducky. If you would like to join us please RSVP by April 27th so I can prepare. If you would like to join us but Thursday's do not work for you let me know and hopefully I can arrange a second day for Punch It Up, if there is enough interest!

Cute Welcome Baby Card!
I will be happy to admit I completely cased this adorable guy and even the layout from a fellow splitcoaster Rochellelee. She had a piece of fabric that inspired her to create this guy. I did change up the colors and greeting. He is the cutest punched duck I have seen!

A cup of tea and a sweet friend!
This is an original. I searched everywhere for ideas for this card. I got ideas from many sources for the layout and cup design but all in all it is my own idea!! YAY! I love it when I can create my own ideas. It is fun to case but there is something satisfying when you can make it your own.

Happy Mother's Day!
Again this is an original, a combination of many ideas that I saw online. The layout was found on splitcoast and the purse on a blog. I love the extra detail the pearl adds to it.

I hope you can come join me on April 30th for Punch it Up Thursday! If you can't make it or want to learn more about punch art...schedule a workshop with me centered around punches!!! It could be a lot of fun!

Happy Stamping!

What I have been up to?!?!?

I have been neglecting you wonderful people for a week now...and here is why!! We have decided to move up to a bigger house. In order to do this we have to renovate a little....the biggest change has been painting and decluttered the stamp room!

Here it is before!! It was originally the nursery, so it is baby blue. Baby blue is NOT a fun color to paint over. It took two coats to cover it all.

The tape is up!!

First roll of paint!!!

WOW!!! The difference!

AFTER!!! WOW!!! The room feels so BIG!

Some stuff is back out...but some stuff is not

Punches are back up!!

Catalogs: 1999-2009. If you have older, I will buy them from you!!!

Ink pads...

STAMPS!

My awesome FREE desk.

I put a lot of my stuff in the closet. It isn't very functional but for selling the house it will work for now. :-)

I hope to be able to stamp some in the next few days! I am missing my stamping time!
