New Product Line!!!

Yesterday, Stampin’ Up! unveiled it’s newest product line, Decor Elements. These are a great addition to the already wonderful product line and will be showcased in their very own brochure (they will not be in the upcoming catalog).

What are Decor Elements? They are a great addition to the Definitely Decorative line! Décor Elements is a line of wall art made from vinyl used to decorate your home. This new line coordinates with our existing product, so it’s a perfect fit. You’ll also notice that our offering of images, phrases, and letters for home decorating is an easy, cost-effective way to design and re-design any room! Each design comes in two sizes and are available in White or Chocolate Chip (one is available in Kraft as well).

Today, Demonstrators get to pre-order some of these amazing designs and get trained and ready to showcase these at a workshop for YOU! Be the first to book a Decor Elements workshop - contact me (or your local demonstrator) TODAY! Customers can start ordering these products on July 1st.

Have a question? Ask it! I will have a brochure available for you in the coming weeks so ask for it! I can also email you a copy of the sneak peek if interested.

Just B!

I think this is my new favorite set!! If you don't have it call me today to place your order, it is an awesome set to have and fun to play with!!

This first card was partially cased and partially original. I think it was created from several card ideas. My friend Valerie and I were trying to get some ideas for swap cards for convention so we decided to stamp like crazy and make a bunch of fun cards! This first one is my favorite!!

Stamps: Just B
Ink: Black and Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: crimper (turquoise layer is crimped), Basic black and Tempting Turquoise 1/4" ribbon, iridescent ice, versamark pen (to color the wings)

This fun card was from my technique class last month. It is a spinner card!

This last one is another one we thought of for swaps and again this was cased but colors were changed as well as a few details.
Stamps: Just B

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White

Ink: Pumpkin Pie

Accessories: Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon, ticket punch

Happy Father's Day

I know, I know I am a day late. Below is the card I created for my husband for Father's Day. He is an awesome Dad and Husband, I would be lost without him. I also included a picture of him and our son.

Stamps: All Holidays, Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel

Paper: Wild Wasabi, More Mustard, Tempting Turquoise and East Coast Prep DP

Ink: Wild Wasabi

Accessories: Markers: Turquoise, More Mustard, Double stitch ribbon, chipboard star, sanding block, glue stick, dimensionals

My Boys!

Next is the card I sent my Father and Father In Law. It also uses All Holidays. The colors are Soft Sky and Chocolate chip. The design is cased from Splitcoast.

The following cards are all swap cards from my May demo meeting. The theme was Father

More Fun Cards!!

My stamping buddy Valerie and I get together and stamp as much as time will allow. We starting picking our brains for ideas for swap cards. In July, Stampin' Up! is holding there 20th anniversary convention and I get to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!! Anyway here are a couple of the swap card ideas and a few other random cards I have made.

You're Invited!
I would have to say, not my favorite card but not the worse either. I love the color combination using Basic Gray and Pink Passion. If you can't tell the pink highlighted date is my BIRTHDAY!

Stamps: Pun Fun (hippo), Mark the Date, and Full Calendar

Ink: Basic Gray, Black, Pink Passion

Paper:Basic Gray, Pink Passion, Whisper White

Accessories: Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon

Thankful Embrace!
I am not sure if I love the card but I love the sets we used. The Embrace Life and Lovely Label sets are awesome sets! We used the Rock and Roll technique on the Thank you with Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant.

Stamps: Embrace Life, Lovely Labels

Ink:Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive

Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Whisper White

Accessories: Scallop punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, Eggplant ribbon, corner rounder, glue dots and dimensionals

HOKEY POKEY!
I saw this card idea at I Ink, Therfore I am's blog.
It uses the designer paper you get as a level one hostess gift. It was very simple to create and I love the way it looks
Stamps: Smarty Pants

Ink: Chocolate chip

Paper: Designer Paper, Chocolate chip, and Whisper white

Accessories: Chocolate chip marker, chocolate chip poly twill ribbon (found in the Occassions Mini)

Suzy Room Card!
How fun is this card!? It took quite a while to get her created but she is here. The idea had been floating around in my head for a while but it took a while to get her on paper. The base is 8x8 piece of whisper white folded in half both ways and then I cut on one of the lines to the center. The stamps are Family Phrase, Sassy Suzie, and the Neighborhood Wheel. I sponged the sky with Bashful Blue, colored the houses. Sassy Suzie and the Yard sign are cut out and sat up with a small piece of garden green paper to match the sponged garden green grass. I have yet to complete the outside of her but she folds up and is mailable. If you would like to learn how to create one of these fun cards email me today to set up a workshop where you and your friends can create one.

Here is the card folded up....You can decorate the outside and tie with ribbon to mail....Stay tuned...she will be completed one day! :-)

Marker Club (May Meeting)

This months marker club met this past Thursday. We did a card using the smacking acetate technique and one using the stippling technique. If you do not have a set of these Marvelous Markers then you must join a marker club and get them! What is a marker club? You and three others pay for a 1/4 of the markers at a time. I will order a full set of markers and divide them up. At the end of four months you will have a complete set of markers, a set of assorted cardstock in each color family as well hostess benefits!! Contact me today to learn more!

Stippling with Time Well Spent
I am in love with this technique! It works wonderfully with stamps that are double lined images. You use your marker to color the stamp the colors you would like and then use the marker to fill in the space with dots. I hope that made sense...It is a beautiful technique and pretty simple.

Stamps: Time Well Spent
Paper: Perfect Plum, Mellow Moss and Pale Plum
Ink: Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss
Accessories: Markers: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss; Scallop punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, paper piecer, dimensionals

Smacking Acetate Dinosaur
Details for this cute card can be found in my previous post marked: Prehistoric Pals!
