Frankenstein Box!

My sweet friend Valerie came over last night to stamp and we got a lot accomplished. One of the projects we worked on was this cute Frankenstein Box using the big shot. His face is the top note in green galore and elegant eggplant. We also attached him to the Big Shot Box #2. I will be raffling him off in October at my Christmas Card Stamp a Stack!! =)

Punch Art Grill!

I am a little late tonight but I have a card for you!! :)

Here is the third card that was created for this weeks punch class. If you missed the class and are interested in the make up class please let me know and I will be happy to get that information to you. We created the grill, school supplies and an ice cream sundae.

I got the idea for the grill here. Everywhere I googled the grills were red and red was not working for me. I used our new in colors Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo as well as Basic Black. How fun does this look as an invite for a Labor Day BBQ!!

Well....stay tuned for more punch art....Frankenstein and a couple of Pilgrims are coming soon!

Punch Art Ballerina!

Baby Girl!

Our new neighbor just had a new baby girl and this is the cute card I came up with for her. My stamping buddy Valerie helped me come up with the idea, which matches the gift. :) The fun ballerina is created using all Stampin' Up! punches. The stamp set used is a retired (**gasp**) Sale-a-bration set that I have for sale! The inside of the card says "on the birth of your beautiful baby".

I also created a Tinkerbell that I saw on Rubber Stamping Diva's blog. Pictures of her will be coming soon...didn't want y'all to fall out from three posts in one day, I will stick with two. My new goal is to try to post a project daily during the week, no promises on the weekend. :-)

Till tomorrow! Happy punching!

Christmas Card Stamp a Stack Part 2

Here are the final two cards we will be creating for September's Stamp a Stack of Christmas cards!

I saw this card on splitcoast stampers by KG Clements. I had to really use my imagination to see the Christmas tree at first but it is pretty cool use of the Inspired by Nature Stamp Set. The "ornament" is created using the level one hostess set Holiday best. You can get this set by hosting a $150 or more workshop!

This second card is inspired by a similar card I found online. I tweaked it to my liking and this is how it turned out. I used the small star punch to create the wreath. I love, love this striped ribbon. I have it in Chocolate Chip and Old Olive, thinking about getting the rest of the colors, it is that fun!
Remember to RSVP for the class by August 31st. Also if you sign up to host a workshop in September you can get a $20 credit at your qualifying workshop!! It is like getting the class for FREE!!! Email me or call me today for details!

Back to School Class!

Stampin Up! has an awesome promotion going right now for kids or just the kid in you! Check out my website: www.kimberlym.stampinup.net for more details. In honor of our kiddos I am going to be having a Back to School Class on Monday August 17th at 7 pm . We will be creating a fun back to school memory book. It will document happenings at the beginning of school, through the year and at the end as well. The cost for the class is $15. I got the idea for this class from a fellow demo, Stamp with Heather. She did the same type class in 2007. Below you will see some samples of the pages we will be creating...once complete the book will be bound using the Bind It All Machine.

A place for a first day picture!

Fun facts for the first day

If you are a homeschooler like myself let me know and we can adjust the pages to fit a homeschooler as well. :) RSVP by August 10th.

I am still alive! :)

I promise I have not fallen off the face of the planet. The move, trip to VA, unpacking and now homeschooling Cooper have kept me busy. I have not stopped stamping though! Here are a couple of cards that I have created lately.

July's Punch Art Class consisted of Bert, a turtle, and a tractor. I found my inspiration for all of them on Splitcoast. If you missed the class and wish you could have made it then contact me about having your own punch it up workshop in your home with your friends. :)

A New Ink On Life gave me the inspiration and idea for this card. I used Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive for his background. The head is done using the Sizzix Scalloped Oval Frame.
A lot of fun to create. I think I am going to try Ernie next so be on the look out for him!

My cute turtle! If anyone knows me well I have stepped out of my comfort zone with the color pallet. I love the new designer paper we offer, this one is Cottage Wall. The turtle was modeled after many seen on blogs and splitcoast. A fun and cute card using Rich Razzelberry and Orchid Opulence.

Lastly is my John Deere Green Tractor! Again, Glorious Green is not a color I normally use but did this time around. I actually used this card for our new neighbor who celebrated his 6th birthday this past week.

This last card is from my monthly demo swap. Our color was glorious green and I really struggled with this color. I added in our new in colors Crushed Curry, Rich Razzelberry and Melon Mambo. The idea for this card came from Splitcoast.

Happy Stamping Y'all! :)
