World Card Making Day Event!

How cool is it that there is a holiday for card makers. I invite you join me as I celebrate World Card Making Day on October 9th at 7pm. We will be making 2 each of the four cards you see below. You also have the option to create 4 each of the cards below.

The set used is the Ronald McDonald Set: Say it with Scallops. Each year Stampin' Up! designs an exclusive stamp set to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. When you purchase the set below, $2 will go to RMHC. Join me in making a difference.

This year for my World Card Making Event you will have the option to give some of your cards to the RMHC. Class costs is $20 for 8 cards or $40 for 16 cards. Stationary Box...Christmas Giftables Class

How fun is this cute box!? I got the awesome tutorial from Jackie Topa. I was kind of intimidated by the idea at first but it is a very simple project. It would make a great Christmas gift for teachers, family and friends. The possibilities are endless. I created this particular one as a door prize for a friend. I used a "Thank you" theme for most of the cards. The paper is textured cardstock in Pumpkin Pie and Basic Gray. The Designer paper is from a retired Simply Scrappin Kit: Crew Kids Boy. I used various stamp sets: All Holidays, Eastern Blooms and Say it with Scallops. The box includes 4 cards with envelopes, 3 tags, 3 (3x3) notecards, a place for stamps, a post it pad, and pen holder.

I will be holding a Christmas giftables class on November 1st at 11am so email me if you are interested. We will be using a Simple Scrappin Kit to create the box and design the cards. You will also have enough materials to go home and create more boxes if you desire. I will have pricing and more details as time gets closer.

Happy Birthday!

My friend Kirstin's son had a 5th birthday party. Kirstin got me started in this addictive hobby so I wanted to make a fun, wow card for her son. She had a rockin' movie party. The kiddos got to eat popcorn and watch a movie in the backyard...very cute! I wanted to create a card with the movie theme....The idea came from a smaller Sizzix ticket die cut. I enlarged it to make a fun card. The Seat is his age, section is the first letter of his name J, the numbers are the date of the party....

Simple Birthday Thanks....

This is a fun stamp set!! I stamped this awesome card with my stamping partner in crime Valerie! We cased it from a fellow blogger and I am sorry but don't remember where we got it. If it is yours please let me know so we can give proper credit.

We crimped the base of the cupcake to look like a real cupcake liner, added eyelets for sprinkles as well as a simple thank you! A fun card you must try!

The inside of this card makes it great for a child's birthday thank you card! You can leave this off and make a more adult card as well. The cupcakes are from our buddy the Sock Monkey.

Here is a card I created for fabulous downline. My two girls came to me out of the blue and are truly a blessing. I try to live by this motto in my stamping business. It is what got me started, to love what I do and share what I love...I love to teach and love to stamp...why not combine the two.
