Happy Birthday!

My mom's birthday was on the 20th so I made her a fun card using the new build a cupcake punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Create a Cupcake Stamp set.  It is a fun punch and a fun stamp set.  If you would like to order your own email me or go to my website.  www.kimberlym.stampinup.com

The card is a case from the Occasions Mini Catalog which is a perfect example of how awesome Stampin' Up's catalogs are for ideas.  I changed up the ribbon and some of the colors.  I also used textured card stock.  The colors are Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip.

Birthday Card Stamp a Stack

I am back, I hope!! I have to say the months of November and December got crazy for my family! My son finished up his first season of soccer, we had my sister and her family come for a visit, found out we are expecting baby number 2 in July, an emergency trip to VA to visit a sick family member, and then a fun filled family vacation to Disney World! We are happy to back home and getting into a routine again.

My first class for the new year was a birthday card stamp a stack! We created 5 different fun designs!!

This first one is my favorite! It is a case from another talented stamper. I used the Greetings Earthling Stamp Set and Whimsy Wheel. The Circle Scissor Plus was also used for the plant.
Colors used were: Summer Sun, Real Red, Brilliant Blue and Pumpkin Pie!

This next card is another case that makes a fun man card. I know it is hard to come up man cards and this one is so simple. I used Basic Gray as a base. Dusty Durango and So Saffron make up the stars.

The hippo card is one I saw on SCS and fell in love with. I used the Polka Dot Background Stamp set as well as Pun Fun! Colors were Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Gable Green

This card was one of my own created from many other inspirations. I used the Sizzix Top Note Die, Soft Suade Ribbon and Chunky Glitter. Stamp Set is Crazy for Cupcakes!

The final card is another case! Thank you to the wonderful stampers that have given me so much inspiration! I love the colors here: Rich Razzelberry, Old Olive and Pale Plum. Stamp Sets are Flight of the Butterfly and Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Stay tuned for more projects! I have a Valentine Stamp a Stack on Saturday! Samples coming tomorrow hopefully!!!

Happy Stamping!

Summer Fun!!

I am loving my punches (I think I have said that before)!! I saw this adorable card while I was at convention last year. It was created by Robin Govier of Alberta, Canada! I am glad I took a picture of it! It was super easy to create, but messy with the glitter everywhere.

The sand castle is done with Kraft paper, spiral punch and word window punch. The shovel is created with the tag punch, 1 1/4" circle punch and the 3/4" circle punch.

We will be creating this card on Thursday, May 28th at my punch it up Thursday class. Come join us!! RSVP by Tuesday May 26th! Cost is $10 and you are creating 3 projects and instruction cards for the punch art!

Happy Birthday Sophia!!

My stamping buddy Valerie's daughter Sophia had her birthday party this past weekend! It was a lot of fun. Cooper had a blast jumping in the bouncer and making pizza! I think his favorite part was the cupcakes though! Aren't they cute??

The card was made with some of my new toys and colors I don't normally use!

Paper was whisper white, perfect plum and pale plum. Ink was the same plus certainly celery. I also used the certainly celery ribbon from the Sale-a-bration catalog. The background to the card may be hard to see but it was dry embossed with Stampin' Up!'s exclusive texture plates. The flower is from the daisy Sixxiz Bigz Die. The Stamp sets were Bugs and Kisses and Birthday Greetings

My baby turned FOUR!!

My month has been crazy, I am sorry I am neglecting you all. On September 22nd my son turned four! FOUR, it sounds so old! Below are the fun invites and thank yous that I created for his Wii Bowling Party. The ball is a 1 3/8" circle with a white gel pen or small hole punch. The wording is from Family Phrases. The back of the invitation is where the information is printed on white cardstock. The bowling pins were a computer graphic I printed and cut out.

If you would like me to create your child's invitations or invitations for any event contact me today for prices. The possibilities are endless..baby showers, wedding showers, birthday, anniversary parties....the list goes on.

My awesome son and I. Isn't he cute! :-)

Simple Birthday Thanks....

This is a fun stamp set!! I stamped this awesome card with my stamping partner in crime Valerie! We cased it from a fellow blogger and I am sorry but don't remember where we got it. If it is yours please let me know so we can give proper credit.

We crimped the base of the cupcake to look like a real cupcake liner, added eyelets for sprinkles as well as a simple thank you! A fun card you must try!

The inside of this card makes it great for a child's birthday thank you card! You can leave this off and make a more adult card as well. The cupcakes are from our buddy the Sock Monkey.

Stamps: Simple Birthday Thanks, Sock Monkey
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Black
Paper: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Basic Black Marker (For coloring and stamping the cupcake), crimper, white grosgrain ribbon, hemp, small oval punch, eyelets, cropodile, versamark, scissors (a lot of cutting) and Iridescent Ice (cherry)

Happy Birthday to ME!!

My birthday was last week but I just have to share this AWESOME homemade Stampin' Up! card I got from my mommy! Sadly, or not so sadly I have gotten her hooked on stamping!! She is doing an awesome job and I just have to show off the cute card she sent me this week. The card is created from scraps left over in the Secret Garden Simply Scrappin Kit (p.177). Didn't she do an awesome job? Thank you Mom!!! I love you!!
